Winnie the Pooh

For this project, I created a movie poster, a book cover and spreads inspired by the classic children’s novel “Winnie the Pooh”. During this project, I chose to create two corresponding pieces: the book cover and the movie poster. It is important to mention that this A.A. Milne novel is now public domain. I chose to move forward with the orange, yellow and green colour palette where yellow is a colour associated with the character of Pooh. I picked three illustrations which I felt best represented the novel: Pooh, a bee hive, and a bee (to represent his love for “hunny”). The action of Pooh looking up has two meanings: looking up to the hive and looking up to his own name.
